Who is behind this?
Bob Bowers has survived HIV/AIDS for over 20 years. He founded HIVictorious out of his passion to educate youth about making healthy choices and being victorious in all of life’s challenges. The “What if it were you?” project is his brain child and he has invited others who share in his optimism to help put together this contest.
.....................

What will I accomplish by taking part in this? You will express your own personal insight into the problems facing those who live with HIV/AIDS and those at risk who may be making uninformed choices. You will reach and speak to people’s fears and misconceptions by portraying your unique outlook at the problem through your artwork.
.....................

How many entries can I make? One entry submitted with one completed entry form and brief questionnaire.
.....................

Can I collaborate with a friend? You’re encouraged to discuss your ideas with friends, but the entry itself will have to be your own work.

What if you were HIV positive? HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention, resources and education

"If we are ever to see an END to this dreadful pandemic called AIDS, a shift in social conscientiousness, more heart, enduring collaborations, and the political will are absolutely vital. With over 40 million of our Brothers and Sisters living with HIV, and another 25 million who have perished, regardless of an end to AIDS, we must continue to address some of the core and long-standing issues. Issues such as poverty, racism, homophobia, addiction and mental health. Whether we realize it or not, AIDS affects all of us. Thank you for doing your part in the fight against HIV/AIDS! Together we can and are making a difference in the lives of many."
